Day 8 ~ Snow Day

Boy what a day!!

snow snow go away and please never come back!!!

we didn't go to work today and to be honest i doubt we would have made it there and then back again. They also closed our office today but for some reason i've not had a text luckily we didn't go in and been chatting to people from work and now a girl of my team is forwarding any BCP (Business Contingency Plans) messages over to me.

i wouldn't mind but we have only recently update the BCP and i gave my new mobile number!!!!

thank god for great colleagues!!!

so far we've got approx 2 ft of snow, near work its about 6-8 inches. there have been pics of snow ploughs up and around Horwich but we've seen no gritters let alone snow ploughs!!!

i've been out up my steps to take a couple of pics but was only out 5 mins as so cold and in places the snow was deeper than my wellies!!!!

the pictures don't really do it justice, i've felt sick to my stomach allday that we were gonna be made to go into work.

tomorrow we are gonna see what its like and then ring the handy free phone number to see if work is open.

today we have been watching what traffic has been down my road and seen as my street is just off a main road and a bus route and connets one half of myside of oldham to the other, there has been very little traffic only really 4x4's and they have been down the centre of the road and they were slipping about, i think there must be black ice under the snow on there as it started snowing hard about 7ish lasy night and was freeezing over night. my mums just opened the front door to check the snow at the front and has let in a
 whooooosh of icy cold air!!! brrrrrrrrr


And now about 4 hours after i wrote this i'm back got distracted by the Red Dahlia, i'm loving it, i'm 90% sure i've read the book but i have read one recently with the same charactures.

My mum makes me laugh as we have a Red Dahlia in a varse next to the TV and when it went off she went oh and nudged her head towards the TV, bless her!!! hahah

Ok this is a WL blog so here goes yay a relatively good day to say i have been stuck at home because and because we have food at home, lovely food and apart from some bread rolls with Tea i stuck to an EE day but to say i could have had so much more!!!!!

For the last few days i've been playing on the wii fit plus and i love it, i'm aching, but its a good achy and i burned about 300 cals today.


Feel like i can stay on track this time.

well i'd best get some sleep need to be up at 6am to call the BCP line at work so far it says all sites are open tomorrow but depending on the over night conditions they will update at 6am ISH!!!
