Once again off track food wise, we had a major binge day. It was mine and Tracy's last day on our current team. Monday we start our training for the Residential Contact Centre (General Enquiries to real people!) i'm looking forward to the training but not doing the job. BUT that's another story.
This has got to be the nicest butterfly bun i have ever eaten! Slightly lemoney and beautifully light mmmmmm. Better still homemade by Tracy!
My Food intake for the day has been dismal.
Toast, Honey Roasted Peanuts, Honey Roasted cashews and Peanuts, Salt and vinegar jumbo peanuts, butterfly bun, pringles, pretzels, biscuits, flapjacks, popcorn, walkers sensations and some more toast.
not sure i can fit this into a SW day!!! haha oh well hoping to be back on track tomorrow!
I've just posted this pic on my Blipfoto site and someone has just comment
"Is it safe to lick the monitor? This is worse than the M&S food ad's used to be" - really made me laugh!
OK down to what i wanted to say tonight.
I love reading blogs and as i've mentioned in an earlier post i have cut a lot of blogs from my reading list - i'm still following 59 people which i think is a fair number. I just wasn't getting rounf to visit people, i've recently discovered google reader and i'm loving that for reading blogs still figuring my way round it so not back to commenting yet.
BUT what i wanted to talk about is what i like about peoples blogs, i was going to link to some faves but i can't pic 3 faves that might be another post.
LIKES
* Lots of photos / pictures and when i say lots i mean lots, they can be of food, people, scenery, animals you name it and i like it! i also like tales around the pictures, if a blog is all words i tend not to read it properly but i skim over the pictures then i go back to read all about the pic and tend to find myself reading the rest of the post.
* Food diaries (with or without pics) i love reading and seeing what people are eating.
Speaking of food pictures, this is what i had for my tea last night, and it was Well FIT!
It is Mango Chicken Slimming World style, taken from the latest magazine but adapted slightly!
A red onion thinly sliced
New Potatoes cut small (i did mine in quarters but might do then smaller next time)
Chicken breast diced
red and yellow peppers
suger snap peas (added for last 5 mins of cooking)
4 tablespoons of mango chutney mixed with 4 table spoons of water.
put it all on a roasting try and cook for 30-40 mins
i also think it'd be good in a pitta or with rice instead of spuds. (or as well as )
its serves 4 and is 2 syns per portion on EE but well worth it!
