i've got my eye on you

I gained 2lbs and now i have my consultants beady eye watching me.

I had my 1st day of training for my new job today.

product knowledge - well telling us to look it up ourselves basically. working out bills manually which i can do.

i'm just watching Jamie's American Food Revolution. And it so sad to see children not knowing what basic veg was a class of kids who knew every type of fast food but not that french fries came from potatoes and that tomatoes were potatoes and when Jamie did the chicken nugget test (where he cuts down the chicken gets rid of all the good bits, blends down the carcass and adds all the extras fat stabilisers skin, makes it in to a patties and fry's them) he then asks the kids who wants to eat it and all the kids put there hands up. even though all the kids said yuk all the time he's cooking it. he said every time he's done the same in the UK none of the kids would eat it. its so sad to see schools allowing kids to be like this!

i'm not jamies biggest fan but i think his heart is in the right place and i think what he's doing is a great thing. it keeps being in the news about this generation of kids are the 1st who will most likely die before their parents!

OMG the kids at this school are not allowed to use a knife and forks, and they can't believe kids in the UK use them and they want documentation to prove  kids in the UK are allowed them, the kids also get chocolate or strawberry milk and the school and government say this is ok! the kids have now got knives and forks and the kids do not know how to use it! these kids are 4-10 years old.

How can these people survive!

Sorry to hear about the gain :(

The US government also heavily subsidises the production of things that make people fat. Which in real terms, makes them cheaper to buy.

I saw this infographic a while back:

Makes you wonder what these people are thinking!
