Diet wise since Tuesday i haven't stopped eatting, and when i say eat i mean eating anything in sight! i've been constantly hungry. filling foods have been consumed, 1/3 super free but yet i'm craving salt and sugar. i was blaming it on that being my 1st day of feeling well for about 10days but i'm still hungry!!! so i fear this weeks wi result will be a gain, but i have 4 days to try and claw back the damage i've done. i haven't tracked but i'd say i'm defo over my weeks syns allowance already! ops
I have been good exercise wise today. i went for a walk this morning. i walked up quite a steep hill till i came to a public footpath the cut across thining i'd come out at the ressie, but i kept coming to forks in the road and couldn't decide which way to come, luckily because i was quite high up i could see roughly where i was in relation to key land marks so i wound my way back to the main road and came out in a pubs car park!!! i was getting a bit scared as i had come down a steep incline then back up another and thought if i need to retrace my steps i'm screwed!!!
These are what it was like! very pretty but as you can see not very clear paths!
i was only out for about 25mins but it was long enough!!!
then when i came home i did 30mins on the wii fit.
Then we went shopping in town and clocked loads of steps, outside the main shopping centre was all fenced off and there is a giant sandpit! we're not 100% sure what its all about but i read in the paper that its festival Oldham this weekend so guessing it has something to do with that!
There was also a Panda (i think the same one as in Kung Fu Panda advertising a Circus was a day for strange sights!
Then after tea i went for another walk, but i kept to the footpaths rather than falling for public off track foot paths! Had a lovely walk. i started off by walking up the main road near my house which is quite steep, the last time i tried walking up there was about 2 maybe 3 years ago and i gave up when i got to the chimney and turned back
I live in what was a very big cotton mill town so we have chimneys all over the palce, this one i love if i can see it i know home is near by!
The i walked past the warm memorial
We had a miserable start and end to the day, this was taken at about half 7 tonight and it was glorious sunshine.
Next i walked down the road where my greatgran parents lived when i was small, my G Grandad passed away here then my g' gran moved in with my gran
I have so many memories of this house and i was only 11 when frankie boy passed away, its amazing how they all came flooding back as i stood outside, they waited year to get UPVC double glazing and just after lulu moved out it got fitted for the new tennent! the privits are looking healthy i always remeber frankie putting his cig ends out in the soil and telling me ash was good for the soil!
Final pic my decent back to my road. this might soud mad but i hate walking on flat roads, the really bore me. so instead of talking the easy option and the flat road home i doubled back on myself up a couple of small hills then down a massive one!!!
did just over an hour and my total steps for today are:
17,917
feel quite proud of myself.
going to walk to the band contest tomorrow and if the weathers ok we're going to go and watch the beer walk start and got for a little walk myself x
