I'll Be Back

Taking a break from blogging as i'm going on holiday....but in the words of the ledgend i'll be back.... don't delete me!!!!

It was my birthday yesterday and thank you to everyone who left me a birthday message on here and on FB.

It was a crummy birthday if truth be told... i was at work allday, i had been told i couldn't book it off, then i found out loads of people have managed to book it so that put me in a bad mood.

Then my birthday present from my old team was broken (a really pretty necklace from next) well that tipped me over the edge...i ended up crying about 3 times. its just one of those things it had already been exchanged once because it had broke in the same place before it had even been wrapped up, luckily it was my mum who had done the collecton and she had the recipt, i was wary about getting another one in case it broke, but they didn't have anymore in next and i could see anythign else i wanted ... i once again almost cried at the till getting the money put on a gift card.

The when we got home we had tea then the sore throat that i developed while taking phone calls at work really kicked in so i went to bed at 8pm and more or less cried myself to sleep... i think all the crying stemed from feeling unwell as crying is my main release mechism, still feel grotty and working all day to day on call centre cover today didn't help but i did only take 13 calls in a 10 hour shift so not bad really and i got tonnes of my own work done! so not all bad.

don't get me wrong i didn't have a horrible day and i got some lovely stuff from my mum... some t-shirts for my holiday and the cat "bought" me some bangles from H&M. i got money off the grannies and my team got me a next voucher.

It's be lovely on a warm day, shame it was bloody freezing!

I received some lovely birthday cards this year and i love them all but one i want to share a photo of, it was made by my lovely friend sue... who is no less a published author of a number of card making books and i got one of her lovely cards. i really didn't expect any cards let alone a hand made one, i know at least one of my friends who will be jealous.

I'd best try and get some sleep i just hope my flight will be ok and not effected by this blooming volcano!!!! xxxx
