Holiday over and back home again. work on monday but lets not think that far ahead as Saturday and Sunday still need to be got through!Holiday was to Costa Teguise in Lanzarotte, we stayed in a lovely Duplex on a beautiful complex 3 pools (unheated but bearable)
One of the small pools
The Main pool
Living room
Dinning room
Kitchen
Outside front covered terrace
On the opposite side to this was a plastic table with 4 chairs and 2 sun beds, the terrace was the full width of the house, we also had a down stairs loo, and a back yard (part covered) and a solana with washer, 2nd fridge, mountain bike and more beach / holiday equipment than your average tat shop! In the cupboard in the living room were full off books , DvDs, Videos an PS2, board games.
Upstairs was a family bathroom, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, but i forgot to take pics of them!
A couple of shots from the walkway along the coast, i love this staue thing and the graffiti i've got a thing for it at the mo
We ate an an amazing restaurant loads of times, i know its nice to try somewhere new but this place El Patio was amazing
The brushetta looks amazing but i think i'd had too much to drink when i took the picture
The best steak in the whole world! i had this lots, i also tried a chicken kebab which was amazing, we had garlic prawns and tempura prawns and calimai all fantastic
El Patio Kitchen.
Another amazing place to eat is Cutty Sark right on the coast it self, we had a sunday dinner there as well as chips and wraps, lovely people who own it. sadly no pictures of their food, but 2 thumbs up!
I love this flag flying in the wind
I'm not a big beachy person, i don't like sand very much and i have childhood nightmares haunting me of sea water stinging my Eczema so can take or leave the sea, but after our mamoth sunday lunch in the Cutty Sark we decided a lie down on the beach was in order, not only did i paddle i went in and swan it was fab, if i go back i'll be in the sea no doubt
Proof i got sand on me feet and didn't moan once!
the view from my towel
My fab Hello Kitty flip flops my friend helen bought me sadly i wore them so much HK got rubbed off!
Is it a canoe? is it a surfboard?
Windsurfing anyone?
HK flipflops also print HK as you walk
I had a few more thinks to mention tonight but its now 2.16am, ops best get some sleep
But i have a parting question? What year is Doctor Quinn Medicine women set in? (i always wondered - its on ITV 3 now i used to love it )

GET IN!!!
Haha i lost 1lb! HOW?!!!
title is another stolen one from Facebook. One of the blokes puts this as his status every time he looses! and i like it!
Another month done and i don't know how i did this month and its been so pants i don't really even want to review the month!
OCTOBER! geewizz how can it be October at the end of the week!
Aims for October.
Find my MOJO.
i only have 2 official wi's in October so i'm not gonna be too ambitious. ideally i'd like to be at 16 6.5lbs by the end of the month, thats only 4lbs away, i can do that!
As i might have mentioned my friend sally mentioned she needed to lose 1lb to get into the 100s well i needed to lose 36lbs! and now its only 35lbs.
so here are some focused mini goals
Get back to 16st 6.5lbs = lose 4lbs
Get to 16st 3lbs 20% = lose 7.5lbs
Get into the 100s = lose36lbs 35lbs
Need to decide how to record it. ????

Onederland
Is a place i want to be.
I'm still in a bad food place but i think with the stress of work and the fact that i think TOTM is just round the corner (prob just as i touch down in Lanzarotte) i'm not worried that bloody stone hasn't been out of my bg except to take a picture on the 1st day i had it.
One of my friends sent a message to a few of us to day this week she only needs to lose 1lb to into the 100's and i've decided to do a new goal, i want to be in the 100's and i'm 36lbs away. So once i come back off holiday i'm gonna do a new action plan to get to the 100s.
I also think that my ultimate goal is more dress size than a weight. i'm not a fan of the whole BMI index and i think i'd rather be a size 14 than aim to weight 11stone.
I've read a couple of articles about |Christina Hendrick who is a UK size 14 on ZGeek.
i think she looks amazing as a size 14.
The mail online also posted this article about the happiest dress size , TBH i didn't really read the article just pulled out the chart below
As long as i don't go too mad i can still maintain or even lose weight on holiday.
I've sorted out another bag of clothes to give to my friend Sarah as well, it means by giving them away i am never allowed to get that big again.
I still need to find my mojo , i'm going to focus on Xmas
It's only 13 weigh in's to go so thats potentially a stone i could lose (even though i'm expecting another gain this week)
A reminder of what i looked like thast xmas.
Me in the purple hat waiting to go on the big wheel in Manchester with Laura and Nat.
Me with Mar having our Xmas dinner on Xmas eve
Me ON NYE (in the same frock as Xmas Eve) looking a little Pished.
Me Mid November on my Works doo and the Willows in Salford.

i've got my eye on you
I gained 2lbs and now i have my consultants beady eye watching me.
I had my 1st day of training for my new job today.
product knowledge - well telling us to look it up ourselves basically. working out bills manually which i can do.
i'm just watching Jamie's American Food Revolution. And it so sad to see children not knowing what basic veg was a class of kids who knew every type of fast food but not that french fries came from potatoes and that tomatoes were potatoes and when Jamie did the chicken nugget test (where he cuts down the chicken gets rid of all the good bits, blends down the carcass and adds all the extras fat stabilisers skin, makes it in to a patties and fry's them) he then asks the kids who wants to eat it and all the kids put there hands up. even though all the kids said yuk all the time he's cooking it. he said every time he's done the same in the UK none of the kids would eat it. its so sad to see schools allowing kids to be like this!
i'm not jamies biggest fan but i think his heart is in the right place and i think what he's doing is a great thing. it keeps being in the news about this generation of kids are the 1st who will most likely die before their parents!
OMG the kids at this school are not allowed to use a knife and forks, and they can't believe kids in the UK use them and they want documentation to prove kids in the UK are allowed them, the kids also get chocolate or strawberry milk and the school and government say this is ok! the kids have now got knives and forks and the kids do not know how to use it! these kids are 4-10 years old.
How can these people survive!

New hair cut
Not the worlds best photos but gives you an idea of my new hair cut, i love my hair dresser she is so funny and i think its the cheapest hairdressers in the world £18.50. I looked in the window of a haor dressers attached to the inside market in town and C&B prices for short hair were from £23.00 and i looks at toni and guy and priced for C&B started at £30.00-45.00 ekk i'll stick to £18.50! can afford to have it cut twice as often that way!
fod wise has been pants!
tomorrow i'm spending the day with my SW Consultant helping to promote Slimming world at a Bike show to help raise money to buy a guide dog
I doubt there is anyone local reading this blog but if you are in the Oldham/ Saddleworth area come down and show your support!

i like
Once again off track food wise, we had a major binge day. It was mine and Tracy's last day on our current team. Monday we start our training for the Residential Contact Centre (General Enquiries to real people!) i'm looking forward to the training but not doing the job. BUT that's another story.
This has got to be the nicest butterfly bun i have ever eaten! Slightly lemoney and beautifully light mmmmmm. Better still homemade by Tracy!
My Food intake for the day has been dismal.
Toast, Honey Roasted Peanuts, Honey Roasted cashews and Peanuts, Salt and vinegar jumbo peanuts, butterfly bun, pringles, pretzels, biscuits, flapjacks, popcorn, walkers sensations and some more toast.
not sure i can fit this into a SW day!!! haha oh well hoping to be back on track tomorrow!
I've just posted this pic on my Blipfoto site and someone has just comment
"Is it safe to lick the monitor? This is worse than the M&S food ad's used to be" - really made me laugh!
OK down to what i wanted to say tonight.
I love reading blogs and as i've mentioned in an earlier post i have cut a lot of blogs from my reading list - i'm still following 59 people which i think is a fair number. I just wasn't getting rounf to visit people, i've recently discovered google reader and i'm loving that for reading blogs still figuring my way round it so not back to commenting yet.
BUT what i wanted to talk about is what i like about peoples blogs, i was going to link to some faves but i can't pic 3 faves that might be another post.
LIKES
* Lots of photos / pictures and when i say lots i mean lots, they can be of food, people, scenery, animals you name it and i like it! i also like tales around the pictures, if a blog is all words i tend not to read it properly but i skim over the pictures then i go back to read all about the pic and tend to find myself reading the rest of the post.
* Food diaries (with or without pics) i love reading and seeing what people are eating.
Speaking of food pictures, this is what i had for my tea last night, and it was Well FIT!
It is Mango Chicken Slimming World style, taken from the latest magazine but adapted slightly!
A red onion thinly sliced
New Potatoes cut small (i did mine in quarters but might do then smaller next time)
Chicken breast diced
red and yellow peppers
suger snap peas (added for last 5 mins of cooking)
4 tablespoons of mango chutney mixed with 4 table spoons of water.
put it all on a roasting try and cook for 30-40 mins
i also think it'd be good in a pitta or with rice instead of spuds. (or as well as )
its serves 4 and is 2 syns per portion on EE but well worth it!

I want to blog but not sure what to say
i want to do a post where i say lots of things.
i want to do a post on what i like on blogs i read.
Some of you may have discovered i've stopped following you, i've had a mass clearout, apologies if i've deleted anyone in error.
It got to the stage where i couldn't remember who i wanted to keep and who i wanted to delete.
i found myself following almost 100 blogs and i kept visiting blogs and thinking why am i here? it not that everyone isn't great but sometimes i find myself reading a blog and thinking i have no connection with this person so DELETE has been hit, I've also deleted a lot of crafty type blogs, no matter how creative i'd like to be i'm not a crafter so unless i'm close-ish to a crafter i'm sticking to following weight loss blogs.
i'm still on the look out for people who are on Slimming world diet so if you know of any bloggers who are slimming world members please can you send me a link.
i think i'm gonna hand write my blog and type it up tomorrow .

They are all such lovely people and exactly how i imagined them to be! you really get to know how a person is and they are defo friends for life.
here are a few pictures from the day.
All the other pics are on faccebook.
i even managed to lose ½lb!

R Eye P BB
So long, farewell, Cuckcoo....
No matter how sad it make me to say this. I will miss BB. I haven't watched that much of it over the past few years but i did watch a lot of this last series and i did enjoy it. and i am Kinda hoping the Rumours that Channel 5 have bought the rights to it are true?!
Diet, i've been a bit off track the past couple of days but nothing HUGE!
I'm off to Manchester tomorrow to meet some friends i've never met before and i am now booked into a Hotel, my mum is coming as well so my dad and the cat can have some quality father furry daughter time.
I also got the news my 12week job trial at work starts 20th Sept and i have to change my hours to 8-4 that week for the training. I hope i can do this job i really don't want to go down the redundancy route.
I can't say i love my job but i love most (some) of the people i work with, and its not like there are loads of jobs out there. i need to learn to drive so i can get too and from work and also help me get a new better job.
I have even considered applying at BGas but the grass isn't always greener and been there done that do i want to go back . hhhhmmmm not sure. Maybe.
we'll see how the job trial goes and i've got my holiday in the middle of it that will break it up.
one thing i want to say is, i'm sorry i've been a bad blog commenter lately mainly cos i've been a terrible blogger. but i'm finally getting back into it and will try and visit and comment .
i think i'll feel better once i get back to 16st 6½lbs, which is where i was. i seem to get to a mile stone and back track big style. its been months and months since i got my 3½stone award.
when i got it i wrote myself a note to open on or after 6th sept and on it i'd put that 14 st 6½lbs. haha my goodness i'm heavier than when i wrote that note! i am a joke!
Hoping i can be good and not over indulge this weekend, i'm planning on not drinking but we know how well thats gone in the past (remember me saying i got home 5am and not remembering how, and the night i lost my shoes, yeah i still haven't found them, and the come dine with nat night when i don't remember going into town those are all nights when i wasn't drinking!) hmm maybe not drinking is not a good idea for me!
